Peanut Butter Crumble Truffle Brownies

Peanut Butter Crumble Truffle Brownies

So last night I am watching old movies and decide to bake a pan of brownies, sounds quick and easy right? Plus you can be eating them say 40 minutes from now? Right? It is unless you live in my world. I go to my cupboard to get a mix that I had bought the other day and before I can find it, I find a bag of mini peanut butter cups. So okay, now I am going to add these to my brownies but wait I need a filling then, right?

Oh yeah and a truffle layer for the chocolate mini peanut butter cups to decorate… and then I think what about a layer of peanut butter crumbles like the ones I use in my peanut butter pie now for that real burst of peanutty goodness. If you have never made the crumbles ever you will love them. Crumbles are made of peanut butter and confectionery sugar, mashed together until crumbles form. Whew now I am done! That’s how this kitchen rolls some days.

It takes a couple of hours to make this dessert but it is in lots of steps so perfect do while doing something else.

Fixed it had to start using a new recipe format and this recipe apparently didn’t convert. The instructions are there now. Thanks for letting me know.
