Peanut Butter Witches Fingers

Peanut Butter Witches Fingers made using Peter Pan Simply Ground Peanut Butter.
Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup butter, at room temperature
  • 1/3 cup Simply Ground Peanut Butter.
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/4 cup confectioner’s sugar
  • sliced almonds
  • red paste food coloring (optional)
  • brown paste food coloring (optional)
Instructions
  1. Mix the butter and Simply Ground Peanut Butter.together.
  2. Add the vanilla and confectioner's sugar. Mix well.
  3. Add the flour. Mix util thoroughly combined.
  4. Divide the dough into 18 pieces, 3/4 oz. each.
  5. Roll the dough into a cylinder to make it look like a finger.
  6. Put a single slice of almond at the top of the cookie, to make a fingernail.
  7. Cut 4-5 straight lines into the dough where the knuckle should be.
  8. With a paint brush, dip it lightly into the red food coloring. Blot slightly on the lid Put it at the bottom of the cookie, really light. When you get all done, dip the brush in a bit of water and smear the red over the end of the cookie. Less is more when doing this. Repeat the same thing with the brown food coloring over the knuckles.
  9. Bake at 375 degrees for 12 - 15 minutes. They will just start to be browning on the bottom. Cool.
