Spaghetti and Meat Sauce

Serves: Serves 4 - 6
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 medium onion - chopped
- 1 cup green pepper - chopped
- 3 - 4 cloves garlic - minced
- 2 28 oz. cans crushed tomatoes
- 1 teaspoon oregano
- 2 tablespoons basil
- 1 - 2 tablespoons sugar
- salt and pepper to taste
- Brown the ground beef in a large pan.
- Add the onions, green peppers and garlic. Cook until the onion is translucent.
- Add remaining ingredients and cook over medium low heat for at least an hour, stirring frequently. Add a little water if necessary.
- Serve over spaghetti noodles and fresh parmesan cheese.
